Courses

Improve your Reading and Writing

ESOL Beginners

Suitable for those with very little English who may have recently arrived in the UK or who have lived here for some time and want to improve their English. This course is 2 hours a week.

All ESOL courses also require learners to do 2 hours homework each week. The courses will continue into the spring term. We do an assessment of each learner to decide which course is the most suitable.

Adult Literacy

This course is for people who speak English, but need to improve their reading and writing. The project works through volunteer tutors working one-to-one with learners.

Computers for beginners

A one term introductory course for learners who have no computer experience. This will run again in January 2011 for one term, and again in April 2011.

ECDL

This computer course is aimed at people using IT at work. It covers all the main Microsoft programmes. Learning is done online, with support available. The fee for this course is £210 (some employers may help). It can also be done at Level 2 for £150.

Fees

Most of our courses (except full or Level 2 ECDL) are free. This covers subsidised courses, not any fee paying ones we run.

Drop In

We have a weekly drop in on Tuesdays from 2.00pm to 4.00pm, which all students can use.

To sign up for a class, visit our website www.traininglink.org.uk where it is possible to enrol on line. Or telephone 020-7383-5405.
